The trials and tribulations of coming out of the closet come to the stage at Coming Out, an improvised theater show built on real-life stories. Beginning with a fun, interactive sing-a-long, Coming Out then takes a spontaneous journey looking at the triggers that have compelled different individuals' choices to reveal who they really are to friends, family and even themselves. For many, making that choice has resulted in a profound sense of freedom; for others, stepping into that great unknown has produced more anxiety than relief. This riveting evening of performance will look at the full spectrum of emotions that can stem from self-disclosure of one's true sexual orientation or gender identity.
