Canada's most popular playwright, Norm Foster, hilariously sends up the workplace in Office Hours. A jockey too heavy to ride, a desperate movie producer whose blockbuster idea sounds a lot like Tarzan, and a sexually frustrated therapist are just a few of the wacky characters that crop up on a Friday afternoon in six offices across the city. Through all their wheeling and dealing and all-too-familiar office politicking, these seemingly unrelated characters are tied together by the day planner, romance novel and mysterious author they have in common. Frequently compared to legendary playwright Neil Simon for his accessible humor and insight into everyday life, Foster creates his funniest play in Office Hours.
