Cendrillon
McCaw Hall
321 Mercer Street Seattle
It sounds like an impossible task -- like trying to make puppies cuter or the ocean bluer -- but choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot managed to pull it off: He made Cinderella even more magical. Cendrillon, a Cinderella Love Story, from the creators of Romeo et Juliette, tells the familiar story of Cinderella with a unique spin -- shedding light on Cinderella's father and his relationship to her mother. Let Jerome Kaplan's arresting costume designs and Sergei Prokofiev's poignant score performed by the celebrated Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra enchant and entertain you at Seattle's McCaw Hall. PNB is the first American company to perform this landmark work!
