Wait Until Dark at Wade James Theatre

Wait Until Dark

Wade James Theatre
950 Main Street Edmonds

Blind housewife Susy Hendrix is being terrorized in her apartment by a band of criminals who believe she has the heroin-stuffed doll they smuggled into the country. But Susy's no helpless victim. Utilizing her unique abilities, she's able to level the playing field with the help of a young neighbor, devising a pulse-pounding game of cat-and-mouse that unfolds in the dark of night and has been thrilling audiences for decades. Originally produced on Broadway in 1966 and made into the classic Audrey Hepburn film a year later, Wait Until Dark is an electrifying thriller by Frederick Knott, the playwright behind Dial M for Murder. Enjoy the unbearably delightful tension of Wait Until Dark at Edmond's Wade James Theatre ... just be prepared to spend the last 20 minutes propped precariously on the edge of your seat.
