After a sold-out off-Broadway run and an international tour, Seattle natives Jerick Hoffer (RuPaul's Drag Race favorite Jinkx Monsoon) and Richard Andriessen (Major Scales) bring their bawdy musical, The Vaudevillians, home to the Emerald City. In this vintage cabaret revue "with a twist of drag," popular burlesque performers Kitty Witless and Dr. Dan Von Dandy -- aka The Vaudevillians -- were caught in an avalanche while touring Antarctica in the '20s. Luckily, they were frozen alive, and thanks to today's warmer temperatures, they've thawed out and are appearing live at the Seattle Rep's Leo K Theatre. But they're a bit shocked to discover that many of music's modern stars have stolen their songs and drastically altered their original meanings. Now, wigs will fly as the two triumphantly take the stage to reclaim and perform their "original" music.
