The Pearl Fishers at McCaw Hall

The Pearl Fishers

McCaw Hall
321 Mercer Street Seattle

Dive into a story of forbidden love with Georges Bizet's colorful feast for the eyes and ears. Set in ancient times on a faraway island, The Pearl Fishers follows two fishermen whose loyalty is put to the test when they both fall in love with a beautiful priestess, igniting a fiery love triangle. Secrets and lives hang in the balance as jealousy competes with their fraternal bond in this enchanting early opera from Bizet (Carmen) that includes the famous duet "Au fond du temple saint." This stunning production at McCaw Hall features a rotating cast of opera stars in the roles of priestess Leila and the fishermen Nadir and Zurga. Sung in French with English subtitles.
