The year is 1932, and world-famous aviator Amelia Earhart is busy making plans for her first Trans-Atlantic crossing. Ray Spencer is an aviation specialist who, though busy searching for the ever-elusive scientific breakthrough that will make long-distance flight safer, remains haunted by the loss of his daughter. Amelia Earhart is desperate for Ray Spencer's advice in preparation for her amazing journey, but first he must take on the ghosts of the past. This soaring chamber musical is a moving testament to love and loss, and the bravery it takes to face both. The Crossing takes flight on the stage of Seattle's Theater Schmeater.
