This is not actors performing in front of a screening of the cult classic movie -- it's the original complete stage version of the show with a fully live performance. A humorous tribute to the science fiction and horror B-movies of the late 1940s through early 1970s, the musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple getting caught in a storm and coming to the home of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a mad transvestite scientist unveiling his latest creation. Weathering the storm in the mysterious mansion, the young couple's lives are turned upside down and their minds expanded by the kooky, kinky residents of Frank-N-Furter's household. The beloved musical, which inspired the long-running midnight movie, features audience participation and classic songs such as "Sweet Transvestite," "Damn It, Janet" and, of course, the pelvic-thrusting "Time Warp."
