Holiday of Errors
12th Ave Arts
1620 12th Ave. Seattle
The side-splitting Shakespeare mash-up Holiday of Errors returns for another season of what Arts Stage - Seattle Rage called "Double entendres, slippery syllables, rapid-fire wordplay and sly jokes." Playing this year at the stunning new 12th Ave Arts main stage on Capitol Hill, Holiday of Errors follows Will Shakespeare himself and his trusty leading man Dickie Burbage as their theater faces closure on Christmas Eve, 1593. An invitation from Queen Elizabeth to perform at Whitehall Palace might be their ticket to solvency, but Will's quill has gone limp. Fortunately, the ghost of Christopher Marlowe is here to help... with a brilliant new song-and-dance-filled version of Richard III.
