From critically acclaimed playwright Sharr White (The Other Place, Six Years) comes this theatrical tour de force that tells the story of an unlikely couple, divorced some 20 years, whose intense, brutally honest and sometimes comic encounter begins anew when Emma arrives unexpectedly at Ulysses' trailer door. Matching luggage in tow, she barges into the squalid home to care for her former husband, now dying of lung cancer. Much to their surprise, the more they understand what drove them apart, the more they're drawn together. What follows is the final reckoning of their relationship -- a reunion charged with both rage and compassion -- as the shocking reasons behind their love's demise are ultimately revealed.
