All in the Timing
Hugo House
1634 11th Ave Seattle
With the precision of poetry, writer David Ives' wickedly funny All in the Timing features an array of witty, satirical, intellectual and just plain silly comedy sketches. These short plays focus mainly on language and wordplay, existentialist perspectives on life and meaning, and the complications involved in romantic relationships. From chimpanzees writing Hamlet to a musical parody of composer Philip Glass, Ives' words are sharp and his situations are downright comical. STAGEright has assembled seven directors who are approaching the material from a variety of disciplines, creating an entertaining evening of experimental theater.
